The summer school will take place over two weeks and include poster sessions for participants to present their own work.

The topics of the summer school include:

  • Computational models

  • Entanglement

  • Implementations of quantum information

  • Many body systems

  • Mathematical methods for quantum information

  • Quantum channels

  • Quantum cryptography

  • Quantum error correction

  • Quantum information with atoms and photons
  • Quantum simulation
  • Relativity and quantum information

  • Topological quantum computation

The summer school will take place at Kish University on beautiful Kish Island. Kish Island is a free zone so no visa is required to participate in this summer school. A visa is required, however, if you plan to visit Mainland Iran. One convenient option for travel to Kish Island is to fly to Dubai and then take one of the many daily flights from Dubai to Kish Island.
This summer school follows on from the successful International Iran Conference on Quantum Information 2007 (IICQI2007), which was also held at Kish University.
